I began my career different than most photographers, I began as a technology teacher. I graduated from SUNY Oswego in upstate New York in December of 2007 and moved to the Richmond area the following August.

Here I taught a variety of high school technology courses, of which my favorite has always been photography. My patience allows me to teach students the art of black and white film photography while also incorporating digital photography and digital editing.

Through teaching I have developed my own love of photography. Teaching students has provided me with something other photographers do not regularly receive - to continuously learn something new about photography.

A few years later I started my own photography business and quickly decided to specialize in weddings. I brought my wife with me on some of the shoots and her past love of photography inspired her to join me. Now we shoot about a dozen weddings a year as a team and there is no one else I would rather work with!

We look forward to working with you and your individual needs and discussing how we all can be creative in the photography process. Contact me with any questions you may have or to set up a meeting of how I can capture your life’s moments.
